You may view the Charts for a Job when Local Monitor, Fixture Monitor or Global Monitor screen is active. Select the Job from one of the above-mentioned screen and click on Charts from Report option of Main menu. You will get the Date and time dialog box. Select the Date and Time from respective controls.
Click on the OK button to confirm the selection and proceed with the generation of charts. You can view all the charts, which are selected in Work Order QAP.
Click on the Chart ® Option ® Normality Test
If Perform Normality Test is checked in the chart options screen then either Anderson-Darling or Chi-Square Test will be carried out depending on the selection.
If it is unchecked then the Anderson-Darling or the Chi-Square test is not carried out and the results are displayed on charts according to the standard normal method
In this case the Chi-Square, Conf.Level, Degree of Freedom, Result will display ‘NA’ as value on the chart screen. The note will display ‘Using Standard Normal method’. The Cp, Cpk and Pp, PPk will display the values calculated using the standard normal method.
For Chi-Square test to be carried out the following condition should be satisfied - The Number of reading for Cpk
(Minimum readings for normality test) from Job parameter is greater than or equal to the actual readings taken.
If data is normal then result displayed is "Data is normal" and Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk will be displayed and calculated using Standard Normal Method. If data is not normal then for Chi-Square, Deg. of freedom and Conf. Level will be displayed and for Anderson-Darling the Deg.of freedom and Conf level will not be displayed instead AD Value and Critical Value will be displayed on the screen.
Result displayed is "Data is not normal" and based on transformation method selected i.e. non-parametric, Box-Cox, Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk will be displayed. If Box-Cox transformation is selected then Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk will be displayed and calculated using Box-Cox method and Note displayed is "Using Box-Cox Transformation Method". If Non-parametric method is selected then for Cp and Cpk it will display "NA" and Pp and Ppk will be calculated using non-parametric method and Note displayed "Using Non-Parametric Method". In Box-Cox transformation, if excel is not installed then result displayed is "Excel application is not installed", chi-square, Conf. Level, Deg. Of freedom is displayed and Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk will be displayed with "NA" and note will not be displayed. If data is –ve then result displayed is "Data is negative" chi-square, Conf. Level, Deg. Of freedom is displayed and Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk will be displayed with "NA" and note will not be displayed.
If data is insufficient then result will display Result "Insufficient Data" or Data is not proper for Chi-Square Test then result will display "Data is not proper for Chi-Square Test" then Chi-square, Deg. Of freedom, Conf. Level, Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk will display "NA". Note will not be displayed
For variable parameter the charts available are Histogram, X Bar R, X Bar S, X-MR, X, Pre-control & Pareto charts.
For attributive parameter the charts available are P, nP, C & U charts.
For all Line Charts: To view details of all actual readings for the samples, use the mouse to move the cursor to the points plotted on the chart.
Click on Cancel to leave this dialog without making any modifications or to cancel the operation.
Chart Mailing Facility -
The Chart Mailing facility is provided in the frmChart Screen.
The File menu of the CHART screen will be having one menu option as EMAIL with two sub-menus viz. Send As Image and Send As PDF.
Click File>Email>Send As Image option then the Chart will be zoomed to 200% and the Zip file of the Image file will be attached to the Mail. The Zoomed Chart will be displayed on the screen along with the compose window.
Click File>Email>Send As PDF>Generate PDF option. The user is given a message "Please enter the File Name in C:\DSS" then the PDF will be generated at the given path in PRIMO PDF window. (Folder will be created, if the folder doesn’t exits) The user must enter the file name in the "save as" textbox "C:\DSS\".
Chart form will have menu with following menu options.
File - file menu with sub options Save as Image & Save as Image for QS9000, Email, Close current chart and Exit option for closing chart form and return back to measurement screen or to monitoring screen.
Save as Image for QS9000 menu option will get enabled only when Histogram is active.
Save as Image will be enabled for any chart is active under File menu.
When click on Save as Image or Save as Image for QS-9000 it will open Save As Dialog box with File name as paracode-Type of chart – DD-MMM-YYYY-HHMMSS and the active path is the last path which you had saved. Click on Save it will get store in the App path [if the last path selected as App Path] or other directory if you choose differently from Save in Combo. Click on Cancel it will not get stored.
Delete Reading/Sample –
Single Instruments Multiple Parameter-
When sample is not completed, User right click on Reading & click on Delete Reading/Sample then system will prompt the message "Are you sure you want to delete this reading" & if user press Yes then
Reading for all parameter related to selected job is deleted & Chart get refresh with updated Reading Serial No with Reading
If user clicks on No then reading for all parameter is not deleted.
When sample is completed & User right click on Reading & click on Delete Reading/Sample then system will prompt the message "Are you sure you want to delete this sample" & if user press Yes then
It will check for corrective action, if corrective action has been taken or not, if corrective action has been taken then it will display. "Corrective action has been taken. Do you want to delete the sample? " If the user clicks on No the sample is not deleted, if the user clicks on yes the sample for all parameter related to selected job is deleted & Chart get refresh.
It will check for corrective action, if records exist in the same. If records exist, then it will display. "Trends have been raised. Do you want to delete the sample? " If the user clicks on No the sample is not deleted, if the user clicks on yes then sample for all parameter related to selected job get deleted & & Chart get refresh.
If user press No then No sample for all parameter get deleted.
Multiple Instruments -

In Chart offline/online when the user right clicks on the reading no, it displays three menu options only when Chart is X Bar R, X , X-MR otherwise two menu option add remark, view remark and Delete Reading/Sample. When the user clicks on add remarks, remarks for reading screen are displayed. User is allowed to enter the remarks and click on Ok, which will launch reading sample screen. If the user clicks on cancel it will still launch reading sample screen. If a remark is present then it will show the remarks for the selected reading else it will show the Reading Sample screen
