Reading Mode for capturing data can be Manual or Automatic.
In case of Manual Mode – Data entered in reading text box is saved into database. Reading entered in text box is dumped into database on pressing the Enter Key.
In case of Automatic Mode – Data is captured based on instrument and interface selected. Various interfaces, which are allowed through PROQMS, are

WB – Weighing Balance
BK941 – Baker 941 unit
BKCALP – Baker Caliper
In case of Automatic Mode, if the instruments selected are due for calibration then the message "Instrument(s) due for calibration Instrument Number" is displayed.
