DSS Systems and Software Technologies Ltd., a 35 year old Management System Consulting and Software Services organization, conducted a seminar on “On-line Process Quality Management System” at Lemon Tree Hotel, Aurangabad on Tuesday, 25th January 2011.

DSS offerings include Six Sigma Training, Implementation and Consultancy for various sectors of business like Manufacturing, Services and Software & IT. DSS also offers software products, which facilitates faster and effective implementation of different Quality Management Initiatives, which are currently being followed in various organizations.

The seminar was held in the evening at 3 p.m. The sessions started with an introduction to DSS, followed by presentation on Online Process Quality Management System and Demonstration of Pro-QMS with Features, Benefits and its applications to the manufacturing industry. This seminar highlighted the practical applicability of Pro-QMS in addressing the core issues of these businesses like rejection control, meeting customer expectations in terms of Quality & Cost, Online process monitoring, corrective and preventive actions, measurement system analysis, etc.

Mr. Himanshu Gupte, Sr Manager Business Development addressed the crowd, which included senior professionals from leading manufacturing companies from Pune. Questions regarding coexistence of Pro-QMS with other process improvement initiatives or standards like ISO 9001-2008, QS-9000, TS-16949, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S etc. were addressed in the session. The seminar was followed by a question answer session and high tea during which Mr. Himanshu Gupte interacted with the audience and addressed queries regarding Pro-QMS implementation.
